This cunning little gadget alleges to read your mind. Is this possible? How does it work? Well, I decided to investigate this curious ball and guess what I found out …
20Q initially started out as an online game, invented by Canadian Robin Burgener in 1988. It is real artificial intelligence in portable format and has a neural-networking action so it acts like the human brain.
This handheld plastic ball comes in 3 colours, purple, red and blue and looks suspiciously like a hamsters run-around ball. All you have to do is think of something, anything that pops into your head. The magical ball will then ask you 20 questions (hence the name), is it a vegetable? is it flat? does it weigh more than a duck? (!*!?) No matter how random the questions appear it miraculously seems to guess correctly.
It is exactly like the Animal, Vegetable, Mineral question game of yesteryear only this one you can play by yourself, so it’s a brilliant pastime for commuters. 99% of the time it successfully reads your mind. This Incredible all-seeing, all-knowing sphere is one of the best mind-reading games on the planet, well probably the only one, but it’s still good and somewhat creepy having your thoughts tapped into by something you don’t understand.
It’s had heaps of great reviews; highly addictive, attention-grabbing, utterly compelling, master of all, fantastic mind-reading game, this seasons must have plastic ball, perfect time waster - you get the idea. People think it’s great!

The new version 2 of 20Q only differs in that it has more british vocab now, so it’ll say lift instead of elevator and pavement instead of sidewalk - you know the Queen’s english.
Brilliant fun for people of all ages, this nifty little handled version of the original 20Q wizard would make a great stocking filler as it’s a bargain at only £7.99 from Play and that includes delivery.
