There seems to be a day for everybody and every profession nowadays, and whilst it’s not something I would particularly celebrate (not being a nurse myself), Nurse’s Day is celebrated this year on the 12th May. Which just so happens to be Florence Nightingale’s birthday – one of the most famous nurses in the world.
So if you have a friend or relative who is a hard working nurse, or even if you have been in hospital yourself recently and want to say ’Thank You’, then what better way than to send a card or a bunch of flowers on Nurse’s Day.

Easter is a popular time for people to buy gifts and cards for family and friends and even though we aim to highlight companies based in the UK only, we seem to be having more and more brits leave the UK to set up a new life in Europe. Spain and France are two of the more popular countries for Brits to pack up and head off to.
Promises of a better quality of life and better weather are two main reasons to head overseas, however many ex-pats are finding it difficult to buy suitable English cards and presents for family and friends still back in Britain.
