Eternity II is a board game with a twist, it is actually a competition available to anyone worldwide and with an real prize of $2 million for the lucky winner.

So what’s it all about? This is the ultimate puzzle, perfect for any crossword, wordsearch or sudoku fan except it uses pieces with colours and patterns. A bit like a jigsaw puzzle, it is guaranteed to keep you occupied for hours.

And yes, you will get a little frustrated with it, but that is why it’s so compelling. You always get just that little bit closer each time.

The puzzle game was launched at the 2007 Toy Fair. Watch it being launched here at Hamleys Toy Store in London.

I like the fact it can be done with a group of people, so it’s an ideal family tea-time teaser, or great to keep the kids amused on a rainy day. Plus the prize money is a big incentive.

To be the first to complete the puzzle and win the prize you will need to submit your completed puzzle as soon as you have solved it. Rules state that the winner will be whoever submits a correctly completed game board first and that person will be announced on the 31st December 2008.
