With only 100 days to go until christmas, it’s time to start getting your thinking caps on and planning presents and such like, otherwise the kids will be very disappointed. I know it sounds ages away, but believe me it’ll go quickly!
Christmas is a magical time for most children, whilst having a religious focus, it is the magic and mystery of Father Christmas that gets kids excited about Christmas Day. All those stories of flying reindeers, a snowy white christmas and lots of presents being brought down the chimney by Santa in his red suit and white beard is enough to mess up the sleep patterns of even the toughest child.
Whether you know him as Kris Kringle, St Nick, St Nicholas, Father Christmas, Santa Claus or just Santa, most kids at some point or other will be writing their annual letter to him, asking very nicely if they can have the latest iTeddy or Smart Cycle because they have been a very good boy/girl this year. I have been clicking my way through the internet to see what is on offer. I wanted something that was guaranteed to bring a smile to any child’s face this year and I think i’ve found it.
Now you can get a letter sent to your kids from the man himself, Father Christmas.
There are 2 sites I have found that offer this unique christmas gift: Father Christmas Letters and Santa.
Father Christmas Letters

Website: FatherChristmasLetters.co.uk
Father Christmas Letters does exactly what it says, it sends your young ones a special personalised letter to anywhere in the world. The personal bits, such as which town they will be in on Christmas Eve, their best friends name and whether they have a chimney that works, are all filled in at the time of ordering and will guarantee the element of magic is still present at christmas time. If he knows all that information about you then Father Christmas must be a real person!
The site is easy to use, you can see exactly what the letter will look like so you know what you’ll be getting and you can pay by WorldPay, debit or credit card, however there are no discounts for multiple orders. The only problem you may find is that they do not have a contact phone number if you need to speak to them - all communication is done through email.

Santa.co.uk

Website: Santa.co.uk
Santa.co.uk is a different kettle of fish and seems a bit more disney-fied, but has plenty of choice. Not only does it have a Worldwide Santa Letter service, it also has a Santa Text message and a Santa Phone Call option. How do you reckon the kids would like that? Would they explode with surprise? You can select what time to receive the call so make sure the camcorder is at the ready!
The letters from Santa are personalised and printed on ’santa stationery’ (including a North Pole stamp) and come with various freebies or extras depending on how much you want to spend.
It costs from £4.99 per letter with discounts for multiple orders, you can pay by PayPal, credit card or over the phone. Just beware, the site has lots of tempting christmas-related stuff so you could end up spending a fortune!
Buy a Santa Claus letter from £4.99
Both sites are worth a gander for some novel Xmas gifts that will make your kids smile, and keep the magic of Santa Claus alive. I know what my nephew will be getting for christmas when he is a bit older!
P.S. Don’t forget the mince pie and sherry on Christmas Eve!
