This Love Knot sculpture features a series of entwining knots - just like the celtic knot - these knots are a symbol of love everlasting. Each piece of soap stone varies in its marbling and colour and with each ornament being hand carved - no machines involved - every creation is unique.

The sculptures are all hand carved from Soapstone, a naturally occuring mineral which as its name suggests is very soft to carve and create these stunning ornaments. Remarkably each piece is carved from just one piece of soapstone, from a craft co-operative in Kenya.
