I can whole heartedly recommend Montezuma’s chocolate shop after years of experience. They sell some of the most delicious chocolate treats going. In fact these aren’t just chocolates, these are delectable treats from the chocolate god himself.

I love receiving these chocolates - they make great gifts for any occasion, even a simple ‘Thank You’.

There have been many a christmas and birthday where I have unwrapped presents to find some Montezuma gold hidden within. From chunky bars and buttons to truffles and the affectionately named ‘dainty dollops’ - whose name still tickles me to this day.

I have always enjoyed trying the unusual. It began with a love of icecream and I would hunt out flavours to delight such as coconut, honeycomb and Baileys. Then when I found Montezuma’s shop one day I realised I could indulge in the same hobby with chocolate. I have since tried many of their delicious flavours but I can’t keep up as they are always creating new seasonal combinations.

My absolute favourite has to be the white chocolate with chilli and ginger Chunky Bar and the geranium Dainty Dollops as a very close runner up. Scrummy!
