R/C Helicopter

I bought a r/c helicopter for my boyfriend this christmas and he loves it! In fact I’m a bit of a r/c widow at the moment because he can’t get enough of it.

The one down side to the one I bought is that he can only fly it for 8-10 minutes before the battery needs charging again. Enough time for a cup of tea before he starts again.

I thought it would be a great gift to add to this site because it is such a fun gift and the ultimate boys toy (all his friends want one too!) Unfortunately they were so popular that they are all out of stock, but after much searching I have found a very similar one

The Salvation 1 microcopter is another ’shown on TV’ specials - it apparently appeared on the ITV programme ‘Tycoon’.

One of the great things about this indoor r/c Helicopter is that it has 3 channels. So instead of just flying up and down, left and right it will also fly forwards and backwards which greatly improves the maneuverability of the gadget.

It is also only a diddy 20g - but the best thing (and don’t tell my boyfriend this) is that it will fly for 15 minutes before it will need recharging.

It can handle any rough landings or crashes (crash proof blades!) until you get used to handling this beast of a heli, but it won’t take long to perfect your technique and pass your pilot exam.
