Street Gliders

Remember the metal ‘one size fits all’ frankenstein skaters that we had to contend with back in the 80’s? Things have gone slightly more upmarket now that Street Gliders have been introduced.

Very similar to Healey’s (trainer shoes with actual wheels incorporated into the heel - hence the name), the street gliders have one distinct advantage, they can be worn over any shoe and are a fraction of the price.

These disco diva wheels flash red and blue as you scoot along - particularly effective at night time. They are also one size fits all shoes so you can guarantee you’re not gonna pick the wrong size.

Quick and easy to attach you can whip them out of your handbag or rucksack at the end of the working day and skate yourself home in half the time it takes to wait for the bus. You may need a bit of a practice session beforehand though.
